Vanessa founded Tone Studio in 2015 to create an ethical, design-led studio where passionate creatives could make a difference in the world. Tone now provides visual communication services to many of Australia's largest charities, UN agencies, and Australian Government departments. 

Vanessa lectures at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) on the role of photography in not-for-profit communications, and the ethics of consent and AI-generated imagery.
